Ferencvaros 1-2 Tottenham: Spurs overcome Hungarian opponents to secure Europa League win

Brennan Johnson scored again for Tottenham as they picked up their second Europa League win in as many games this season.

Up against Ferencvaros, who have dominated their domestic league in recent years, it was a nervy start for Ange Postecoglou‘s men but Pape Matar Sarr eased those nerves to put the visitors ahead.

Johnson then came off the bench to net once again just moments from time to keep up his hot streak. Barnabas Varga scored on the stroke of 90 but it was too little, too late.

Tottenham are just the second English team ever to win away in Hungary, after Leeds United in 1969. Unbelievable stat!
